Greg R.Greg is one of two Family Law Case Placement Coordinators at VLN. He lives in NE Minneapolis with his wife and his two charming children. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. In 1997 he spent 8 months traveling by bicycle throughout Europe. He is currently a member of the Audubon 8 Writers Group, which meets weekly in NE Minneapolis. He enjoys writing Haibun, a combination of Prose and Haiku.
Perfect Stillness Three teenage boys and I watch a spider weaves it's web. “Come on, let's go,” one of the boys says. They leave. I continue to watch the spider. When it is done weaving it's web, it waits, in perfect stillness, for it's prey. I wait with it. But I become impatient, so I leave. The spider does not know impatience. It continues to wait, perfectly still, knowing it's prey will eventually arrive. spider weaves it's web positioning itself for the ending of life
